What are the requirements ? Do I need any special hosting system ?
If you want to use our Control Panel you'll need server with enabled PHP 4 and MySQL 5 (or newer). You can use asp.net based systems too, but in that way you'll have to built your own system to control the player (detailed documentation is included). We highly suggest to choose Master Edition for such modifications

How difficult is to install this player?
To tell the truth it's quite easy - all you need to know is how to access your ftp server & mysql. Inbuilt Installer will do everything for you - step by step.

Can you help me with installation ?
It is not a problem - you can hire us and we'll do installation for you. It costs only 20$.

Do I need a streaming server or I can keep all video on my ftp account?
You can store your files on any ftp account, just like you do this with your html, jpg files. Player also supports streaming servers like: adobe flash media/streaming server, wowza media server, red5. There is no problem with live streaming too.

If I decide to upgrade my license do I have to pay the whole quote ?
No, if you for example decide to upgrade your player from standard edition to master - you'll just have to pay the difference. For example you can buy standard edition and later upgrade to extended ect.

Can I resell this player ?
No, you can use this software for all your personal sites or client work, but you cannot share/resell player files.

What kind of ads can I use in this player ?
You can use our inbuilt pre-roll (video) and overlay (graphical ads) systems in all available editions. Master edition also gives you access to such advertising networks like: Google Adsense for Video, Scanscout, Adap.TV (you'll need partnership with one of these publishers)

If you release a new version, do I have to buy it again to gain access to new features.
No, all updates and fixes are free.

How can I customize my player ?
You can select you own colors for fonts, background, active elements. Enable/Disable features like "mail", "code", "link" "hd/sd" (separately). There are 3 different types of GUI to choose from too.

What type of files I can play in that player ?
You can play a large variety of formats like: FLV, MP3, MP4, MOV, 3GP

Can I play AVI files ?
No, this format is not supported by Adobe Flash Player - you'll have to encode such video into one of available formats (see above)

Does the player support H.264 codec - what if my users have old flash client ?
Yes, player fully supports H.264 codec, our player has got inbuilt flash auto-updater too. You can also try to deliver video in 2 versions (MP4/FLV). Player will select proper version according to situation.

I'm running a big site where my users can upload files - do I have to use your video manager ?
Absolutely not - you can connect player to any existing CMS very easily. Basic PHP/MySQL knowledge would be handsome.

What can I learn from statistics ?
You'll be able to see how many views & unique visitors your videos generate. Control Panel will also show you all sites that have embedded your player (you can track them). In Master Edition these tools are far more advanced. You can compare editions in demo section.

Can I control this player with JavaScript or something ?
Yes, there is a large variety of commands like: play/pause/start new video ect. Please check documentation for more details.

I would like to make some custom changes to player, what do I need ?
In Master edition you'll find source files for player- so you are free to change any element you like. For editing the player you'll need Flash Professional (CS3, CS4).
